To me this film reminded Interview with the Vampire, although was unable to hold my attention.
In the films I mostly appreciate the novelty of the idea, and here unfortunately I've seen nothing new, except for the sexism in the ranks of the vampires of course.
Indisputable highlight of the film " Gemma
Arterton, she is eye-catching. Beautiful, clever, Yes, and the immortal
vampire easy virtue.
Saoirse Ronan I can't especially mention, but that's my personal opinion. She plays well, I just like more emotions on actor's face.
The greatest discovery of this film is Caleb Landry Jones
. Wonderful and
charismatic guy I've in new X-man movie, but his acting I've appreciated only
now.
The plot of the film is also difficult to argue, because like that raised important and serious topics of the truth and lies, relationships with parents, death, and immortality, but stretches the plot itself is not very actively, that honestly casts a dream.
